Overview
We are seeking a motivated, dependable General Laborer to support day-to-day production activities in our Amery facility. This role involves operating basic shop equipment and performing quality checks to keep work flowing safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
· Operate basic hand tools and shop equipment (e.g., grinders, band saws) as assigned
· Support plasma table operations, including loading/unloading steel sheets, as trained
· Inspect work for defects and verify products meet company standards
· Maintain a clean, organized work area and help keep tools/materials in proper locations
· Follow all safety procedures and company policies; report hazards, near misses, and quality concerns
· Assist with other production tasks as needed
Qualifications
Required
· Ability to stand for long periods and lift as required for the job
· Regularly life up to 25lbs
· Basic mechanical skills and ability to use hand tools
· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions
· Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude
· Good communication and teamwork skills
· Willingness to work safely at all times and follow shop safety rules
